MEDICAL CLEARANCE
- You are under 18 years old
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have been on Accutane within the past year
- Have HIV or Hepatitis or any other transmittable blood conditions
- Undergoing Chemotherapy treatment
- You have epilepsy or are susceptible to seizures
- You are taking blood-thinning medications that affect your ability to heal from wounds
- You develop infections, keloids, or scarring easily
- Psoriasis/Eczema in face area
- Conjunctivitis
- Recent eye surgery or eye-lift surgery
- Recently done permanent makeup in the face area
PRECARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Avoid any skin treatments for 2 weeks leading up to the appointment (microdermabrasion, peels etc).
- Refrain from getting Botox or fillers for 2 weeks leading up to the appointment.
- Refrain from getting Botox or fillers for 2 weeks leading up to the appointment.
- Book your spray tan for 2 days after your brow appointment, never before.
- Avoid using any active ingredients in your skin care, such as derivatives of Vitamin A, salicylic acids, AHAs, etc.
- Stop taking acne medications and steroids at least 6 months prior to the appointment.
- Do not get sunburned before the appointment.
- If you have psoriasis, dermatitis, or eczema, it is not advisable to get this treatment done, as it may result in uneven skin stain and an overall unsatisfactory result.
- Grow out your brows for as long as possible, as more hair will provide for better results.
AFTERCARE
- Keep brows dry for 24 hours
- Do not apply any makeup, cream or oils around the brow area for 24 hours after treatment
- Brush daily with care and set when wet to style intro shape
- Oil nightly to nourish your brows for 2 weeks post lamination
- Use standard facial cleanser to wash away brow oil in the morning
DON'TS
- Do not apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours post treatment.
- No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior to treatment and 48 hours after treatment
- Avoid swimming, saunas, steamy showers, or excessive workouts to 24-48 hours
