ALL ABOUT OMBRE POWDER BROWS
THE PROCESS FROM BEGINNING TO END - THE SEDUX EXPERIENCE
-
CONSULTATION
The first 30 minutes of the appointment consists of brow mapping + shaping to design an eyebrow shape that fits your face frame best. Then, we will create a pigment mixture of the perfect shade of brown that'll neutralize with your natural undertone.
-
PROCEDURE
Expect the actual tattooing session to last anywhere from 1-2.5 hours. Numbing is used throughout the procedure for maximum comfort. We advise against scheduling any activities immediately following your procedure in the case we go over the expected time.
-
AFTERCARE & TOUCH UP
Following the procedure, we will go over the aftercare instructions along with your aftercare kit. We strongly advise scheduling your recommended 6-8 week touch-up with your artist immediately after your appointment to secure availability and avoid potential booking constraints.
OMBRE POWDER EYEBROWS
WHAT IS THE OMBRE POWDER TECHNIQUE?
The less invasive and longer lasting technique, Ombré Powder, resembles a powdery makeup look that’s fully customizable for natural, medium or bolder results.
Please note, this is NOT microblading.
With minimal to zero pain, this procedure is done with a machine instead of an incision-like technique, such as microblading, which can cause scarring.
HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
This procedure is suitable for all skin types and CAN LAST UP TO 1-3 years depending on the brow style you choose, your skin type, aftercare and lifestyle activities.
WHEN DO I NEED A TOUCH UP?
A touch up appointment should be scheduled for 6-8 weeks after your initial procedure and is suggested to do touch up/color refresher sessions every 8-12 months to maintain color.
After 30 days, it is normal to have some spots where the pigment didn’t retain, where at your touch up we will reinforce the outline, define the shape and fill in any missing/faded pigment.
DOES IT HURT?
Numbing products that contain lidocaine and epinephrine are used during the procedure for your comfort. If you have any allergies to these ingredients, the procedure will be done without any numbing.
Most clients rate the procedure a 4/10 pain level and some are able to even fall asleep!
